New Release – Greg Roy These Words to You

Jamaican born Roots Reggae artist Greg Roy turns up his soulfulness in partnering with his lead guitarist Jonas Kahn to bring you his newest single release, “These Words To You.”  While settling into the Boston Reggae scene, Greg Roy has been a standout artist bringing his original blend of Jamaican Reggae with a strong emphasis showcasing his full-on soul while mixing in his own creative artistry on the old-time style of Jamaican folk.

“This song was created by its own creation.  I was the source of channeling the frequency, basically.  I wish for my listeners to have their own sense of connection based on how the message is being transmitted through vibration.

People have always been in isolation. However, today, it is clear, that the ones who did not notice that they were in isolation are now feeling the need to be free and to get out and about.  This song is a reminder of not just the way it was, but how it is now and what might be to come.  I hope people recognize the need to appreciate the simplest thing.  Things that they pass by all the time without noticing while they hurry to this job that they thought would not go on without them, or they could not do without. 

I hope this song reminds them to appreciate what they have for it is all they have.  Life.  I personally felt like I should speak the words and not sing them.  That is what I did.  I didn’t believe this song was about style or melody.  I speak THESE WORDS TO YOU appropriately in my view.”
