Sister Nancy – Bam Bam at number 1 spot on iTunes Reggae Singles Chart January 10, 2015

Sister Nancy, a popular female Dancehall DJ singer from Jamaica and well known for her classic Reggae Dancehall anthem Bam Bam is once again at the top of the Reggae charts. Bam Bam is currently featured in the soundtrack of the controversial movie, The Interview,  a comedy about a fictitious assassination plot involving North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un,  which had a limited theater release on Christmas Day.  


 In 1982,  Sister Nancy’s well known hit  Bam Bam was released on her first studio album, One Two, for the Channel One label.  The song has reached a new level of popularity with its inclusion in a Reebok commercial last year followed by The Interview Soundtrack this year.   Bam Bam is now trending as the number one Reggae song on the iTunes Singles chart where it has been in the number one spot for at least a couple weeks. As of January 10, 2015, Sister Nancy’s album, One Two is number 10 on the iTunes Reggae Album Chart.
