The Reggae Reflection team recently caught up with Irish & Chin publicist, Flair Lindsey and got the 411 scoop on three very exciting upcoming events. When you talk about celebrity parties, shows and productions, Irish & Chin has “got it going on” in the New York tri-state area!

O.K, so last March following rave reviews Irish & Chin brings back the play “Ghett Out” for another run featuring Jamaican superstar comedic actor Keith ‘Shebada’ Ramsay to the tri-state beginning on Saturday Aug 20, 2011 at the Cecily Tyson School of Performing Arts, 35 Winans Street, East Orange NJ. Doors open at 7 PM sharp. From all accounts the buzz is that “Ghett Out” is an exciting comedy production appropriately billed as “fast-paced and entertaining” but to put it another way, you’ll split your pants laughing! If you can’t make it out to NJ then no worries, just catch the next performance of “Ghett Out” scheduled on Sunday, August 21st at the Evander Childs High School, 800 East Gunhill Road, Bronx NY.  Expect great performances from a finely-tuned ensemble of actors including: Abigail “Maude” Grant, Maxwell “Run Tings” Grant, Maylynne “Barbara” Walton, Luke “Makka” Ellington, Junior Williams and Orville “Ruler” Hall and, lot’s-and-lot’s of incredible Dancehall style music.

Next up on the lineup of incredible Irish & Chin productions, Dancehall fans that don’t already know will be thrilled to learn that Beenie Man returns to New York on Saturday, August 20th for his star-studded birthday bash! Get ready for lots of The King Of Dancehall’s celebrity artist-friends taking the stage and fans coming out in full force to salute him at the party. The bash takes place at the extremely spacious Amazura Concert Hall, 91-12 144th Place, Queens New York. Needless to say, purchase your tickets ASAP and arrive early!

Last but by no means least, for the first time ever on Saturday September 3rd Irish & Chin takes their foundation Reggae show “REEEWIND & COME AGAIN” out of New York and on the road kicking off in Connecticut at the popular West Indian Social Club, 3340 Main Street, Hartford, CT.  As expected, it’s a top-notch vintage lineup of artists and sounds taking the stage in the traditional Sound System performance style. Featured artists included Reggae legends Brigadier Jerry, Charlie Chaplin and General Trees in a repeat command performance, and newly added vintage-styled Reggae stars Frankie Paul and Admiral Tibet; music by legendary sound systems Jah Love alongside King Sturgav. The New York productions always sellout and you can bet the same will happen in Connecticut with many NY and NJ fans gassing up their vehicles or hopping the Metro North to attend this once in a lifetime production!
