Alborosie has released a new track off his upcoming album “Unbreakable” with The Wailers. “Contradiction” featuring Chronixx is a new tune that I just keened my ear to. It’s a good quality track with solid production, which the Wailers have always delivered. It’s also a treat to be able to hear Chronixx with a different band rather than the Zincfence, which is pretty exciting.

The song is an interesting play on words seeing as how the main theme is contradiction. The Wailers absolutely delivered a flawless instrumental display of drum and bass which can only be done with their classic veteran approach. Chronixx on the other hand has put down another stellar performance similar to other features on other tracks like the Protoje collaboration “No Guarantee”.  Alborosie and his deep gulp like harmonies is an ear opening inhale whilst the background horns twang the yawning bass roll from the Wailers.  Overall the song is good, so the official rating is……….4.0.
